During the Qin Dynasty, hanfu has an extra belt around the waist.—men typically used leather, while women favored silk. By the time of the Han Dynasty, the Chinese referred to themselves as Han ethnic group, and their attire as hanfu. Han style hanfu further emphasized it lithe and grace.
The jacquard pattern on the blue robe draws inspiration from the treasured relic "Silk Brocade with Auspicious Beasts and Immortals" (瑞兽仙人连壁纹锦) from the China National Silk Museum. The patterns on the collar and cuffs are inspired by a “The Han Dynasty Auspicious Beasts Patterned Brocade” (汉代瑞兽纹锦) from the Xinjiang Institute of Archaeology. The design features auspicious creatures such as qilins, mythical deer, and divine birds, adding a touch of historical elegance.The lightweight, semi-sheer chiffon outer layer is airy and subtly lustrous, exuding understated elegance.
