The Ma Mian skirt is named for its resemblance to ancient trapezoidal pagodas. It became most popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties, worn by everyone due to its diversity and memorable symbolism. Suitable for traditional festivals, weddings, and everyday wear, it remains one of the most sought-after styles of hanfu today.
This set pairs a mamian skirt with a modern knit top for a cool, contemporary Chinese vibe. The shirt's fabric is super comfy, with contrast-color cuffs featuring embroidered details. One side of the collar has a print, complemented by vintage frog buttons and pearl snaps—plus a row of bead accents for a unique touch! It also comes with a traditional tassel charm.
The modified horse-face skirt has an elastic back and side zipper for easy wear. Made from cherry blossom jacquard fabric, the subtle all-over print gives it a flowy drape.
