The Ma Mian skirt is named for its resemblance to ancient trapezoidal pagodas. It became most popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties, worn by everyone due to its diversity and memorable symbolism. Suitable for traditional festivals, weddings, and everyday wear, it remains one of the most sought-after styles of hanfu today.

This design features plum blossoms blooming as dragons swim amid dragon roars. With a 75cm maximum pattern repeat, three distinct dragon groups adorn the skirt: a central dragon flanked by two pearl-playing dragons, all surrounded by auspicious clouds.

Plum blossom motifs dominate the subtle background patterns, exuding an elegant "dark fragrance and sparse shadows" vibe. At the hem, crashing waves carry plum blossoms as dragons swim through, shimmering with gold and silver threads under light—symbolizing prosperity "where water flows, wealth grows."
