▪ Source of Inspiration: 

The nomadic culture injected new vitality into the Wei & Jin style hanfu. Its colors and decorations become richer. Wei & Jin style hanfu are thinner and more convenient, and their wide clothes and big sleeves are the exhibition of the elegance and freedom of the literati, allowing each wearer to move conveniently, thanks to the light and airy wearing experience.

This Hua Muqiong hanfu is inspired by Princess Qiongying, a character from Kunqu opera. Though Qiongying is also portrayed as a young woman, she’s a bit older than Princess Yaofang. That’s why we chose a more mature, calm teal-green as the main color, accented with small touches of red for contrast. Patterns like thrushes, plum blossoms, and Chinese roses are used to highlight her valor and wisdom.
