The Tang style hanfu is the jewel of Chinese dress culture, Tang style hanfu has been loved by people all over the world since it was created in the 7th century A.D., and is still the best-selling variety to this day because of its open and inclusive style. The Tang style hanfu is best known for Qixiong hanfu, or we call it breast-high hanfu. This style is still the first choices for many young ladies.

This "Wine Lover & Wandering Lion" hanfu is inspired by Chunyu Meng, a character from Kunqu opera. The story is set in 791 AD, the 7th year of Emperor Dezong’s reign in the Tang Dynasty. By then, the An Lushan Rebellion had ended, and the Tang Dynasty was shifting from its golden age to the middle period.  

That’s why we chose a Tang-style round-collar robe for Chunyu Meng, a man of the "mortal world." His role—a dismissed military officer, talented but unrecognized—resembles a sleeping lion. So we referenced a cultural relic featuring paired lion patterns, reimagined it, and created this robe. Fittingly, the relic’s original owner was also a Tang Dynasty general.
